WOW, January 2009. Kind of glad all that holiday stuff is over. Atleast now I can get back to the normal flow of things. Back into a routine so to speak. Well, whats up? Lets check the To Do list of online adventures.
COD2 — eXtreme+ v2.5 — PatmanSan and Gixxer have that well under control, should be ready for final review and release very soon.
COD4 — X4v3.0 — Last problem to overcome is a small error in the weapons Camo.
COD4 — PAM4.02 — bullet-worm handed over the source code for this. Been speaking with some Leagues about a few things that need fixing. CEVO, CAL, TWL — not sure if it will be ready in time for CEVO this month, but I’m working on it.
COD5 — X5:Full — On hold for the time being due to the Treyarch HTTP redirect. No telling how long it will take them to get the Patch 1.2 out to fix that so……………………..
COD5 — X5:Lite — Yep, you guessed it, scaled alot of the Full version down to make the 12kbps download more exceptable. Got a few buggy things left to tweak, but it is good enough for a few Beta servers at the moment. All goes well, might just remove the scripts causing those bugs for now and release something to the public as the COD5 servers are growing really stale.
gCOPS — Been working on this with a few of the {PST} guys for almost 8 months now. “Gaming Community Online Policing System” We moved beyond Alpha and Beta, the server code and website frontend is 100% — now to optimize the website backend and database. Also need some hardware, couple of servers to co-locate and we will be set. Think of this as the PRE-ban Technology
Misc — Been having some nice talks lately with Brian from Ventrilo and Jay from Clanwarz. There might be some hope for a better, clearer, crisper VOIP in games just yet
House is still in Escrow, which I hope closes end of this month.
I’ll end the update here for now, get back to it after some more has happened or when I remember something else *LOL*
